The Tradition of Champagne

The tradition of popping open a bottle of champagne on New Year's Eve isn't just about the effervescent bubbles and the clinking glasses; it's a symbolic gesture that transcends the ordinary. Champagne, with its sparkling allure, has become synonymous with celebration and extravagance, making it the quintessential beverage to usher in a new year.

The festive pop and fizz create an atmosphere of joy and anticipation, adding a touch of glamour to the occasion. It's more than just a drink; it's a ritual, a shared moment of toasting the accomplishments and challenges of the past year while welcoming the promise of a fresh start. Whether sipped in intimate gatherings or amidst the grandeur of citywide celebrations, champagne on New Year's Eve encapsulates the spirit of optimism, hope, and the shared excitement for what lies ahead. It's a tradition that links us to the past and propels us into the future, reminding us that every new year is an opportunity for renewal, growth, and, of course, a bit of sparkling indulgence.

Ingredient Substitutions

When it comes to crafting your own mocktails at home, the possibilities for personalization are as vast as your creativity allows. Here are some substitutions you can make from home.

  • Jane & Juice Ampoule: If you can't seem to find any ampoules at your local plant store, try Dissolvable Cannabis Powder instead!
  • Elderflower syrup: Elderflower syrup is kind of a niche ingredient so if you can't find it or make it, feel free to omit or substitute with another fun syrup like lavender!

Step 1: Calculate Potency For Your Infusion

Calculate total batch potency by entering product weight (grams), THC/THCA percentage, and CBD/CBDA percentage. Get total THC and CBD in milligrams (mg) for dosing.

(flower, wax, oil, etc)

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis, while THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is its non-psychoactive precursor found in raw cannabis

CBD (cannabidiol) is a psychoactive compound in cannabis known for its potential therapeutic benefits, while CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is the precursor to CBD found in raw cannabis, which needs to be decarboxylated (heated) to become CBD with active properties.

(ie. butter, olive oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, alcohol)
